Nothing really eventful has happened since I last posted.
I still haven't gone on that run I've been wanted to take to Laguna Seca . . . yet. I hope to get it in before my half year mark in December. I think my main goal is to just keep up with the running for now, no matter the distance. As long as I'm able to keep it to at least 2 miles a day.
I know . . . I'm aiming low. I don't care! I'm not hurting like I was at this time last year and I'm sleeping like a baby now. A lot of the complaints I had last year physically, are pretty much gone. Even the weight is slowly dropping off. As long as I keep up with the slow-carb stuff, I drop at least 3 pounds a week.
This week will NOT be one of those weeks. My guess I'll have dropped only a pound or two . . . but at least I'm dropping. Considering I started around at 250 lbs on this adventure, I should be down to 225 lbs by Friday. That's the lowest I've seen in over 10 years!
The problem for me this week is my schedule is FULL. I really should'a prepped my meals for the week on Sunday, but I was beat and lazy by the end of the day. So right now, I'm trying to keep the grubbin' as healthy as possible. It's kinda hard when mom cooks up a nice chicken soup on a cool day.
But as long as I see a drop in numbers, I'll be happy.
